Sarah Barr

Sarah Barr, PsyD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness. Dr. Barr offers in person and virtual individual and family therapy services for children and adolescents. She is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and offers virtual PCIT services to families with children aged 2-7 years old. She also conducts psychological assessments with children and adolescents to address a variety of presenting problems.

Dr. Barr has experience working therapeutically with a range of presenting concerns, including trauma and complex trauma, mood disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral challenges, and grief and loss.

Dr. Barr uses an integrative approach blending attachment and family systems theory to tailor support that meets each person’s unique needs. She believes that therapy is an interactive process built on trust, authenticity, and sincerity. Dr. Barr helps children and families move beyond challenges, foster hope, and strengthen relationships. Her goal is to provide a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and develop a new perspective about themselves, others, and the world around them.

Dr. Barr graduated from the University of Colorado, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She continued her graduate studies at Pacific University, where she earned her Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Barr earned her certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in 2024.
