This policy explains what information Palm Beach Behavioral Health & Wellness (“PBBHW,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, pbbhw.com, and how we use it. It applies to the website only. Clinical care and client records are governed separately by the Notice of Privacy Practices we provide to clients, as required by HIPAA.

Information You Submit

The website does not require an account, and nothing is sold here. The only personal information we collect through the site is what you choose to submit:

  • Contact form — your first and last name, email address, phone number, and message. Submissions are delivered to our team as email through our email-delivery provider so that we can respond to your inquiry. The form also lets you opt in to text-message (SMS) follow-up, described under Text Messaging (SMS) below.
  • Newsletter signup — your email address, added to our mailing list so we can send you the newsletter you requested. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Please treat the contact form like ordinary email: it is a convenient way to reach us, but it is not a secure clinical channel. Do not include detailed health or treatment information in a form submission — share those details with your clinician directly. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911, or call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on the contact form, you agree to receive text messages from PBBHW at the phone number you provide, related to your inquiry, appointment scheduling, and coordination of care. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving care or using the site. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile phone number and SMS consent are used only for these messages; we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing, and mobile opt-in data is not sold.

Information Collected Automatically

When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We use this information only in aggregate, to improve the site; we do not use it for advertising or retargeting, and we do not build visitor profiles. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting your use of the site. Our hosting and network providers may also keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes. The contact page also includes an embedded Google Map; the map is served by Google, which receives standard request data (such as your IP address) and may set its own cookies when that page loads.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries sent through the contact form.
  • To send text messages to people who opted in to SMS through the contact form (appointment scheduling and coordination of care).
  • To send the newsletter to people who signed up for it.
  • To understand site usage and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only parties that process website data on our behalf are service providers — our email-delivery provider (which handles contact-form delivery and the newsletter list) and Google (analytics and the contact-page map) — plus the providers that host the site. Each processes data only to provide its service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. (Our clinical services for children are arranged by parents and guardians, not through this website.)

Your Choices

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue, or by contacting us.
  • Contact us to ask what information you have submitted through the site, or to have it corrected or deleted.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
